Fisheries in the Adriatic Region - a Shared Ecosystem Approach (2020)

Enhancing transnational capacity and cooperation in the field of an ecosystem approach to fisheries in the Adriatic region by exchanging knowledge and sharing good practices among partners.

The process developed in FAIRSEA provide an opportunity to describe best practices and define guidelines for a sustainable fishery management.

This high-tech and innovative platform will be used as a planning tool that will be able to test different approaches to fisheries management at the local level and at the level of the entire Adriatic. The platform is designed as a scientific basis for proposing and evaluating joint management decisions at national and international level, resulting from the cooperation of legislative institutions, experts and stakeholders in the fisheries sector.

Civil Society Organization Engagement with Ecological Economics (2008)

Incited capacity of civil society organizations (CSOs) to participate in and lead ecological economics research on sustainability issues for the benefit of their organizational goals, while at the same time to enrich ecological economics research with highly valuable activist knowledge.
